Lewis Hamilton And Cristiano Ronaldo Spark Bromance Rumours At Monaco Grand Prix

Cristiano Ronaldo jetted off to the French Riviera this weekend for a taste of the Formula 1 atmosphere just days before lights out in Monaco… and he was seen rocking a $1.5 million USD (~$2.2 million AUD) timepiece to match the occasion.

The Monaco Grand Prix is, without a doubt, the hottest ticket in the entire Formula 1 season. It’s become something of a mainstay of recent years celebrity spotting before lights out for the start of the race, but for decades, the inevitable allure of Monte Carlo has been too much for the who’s who of celebs to bear.

In 2022, it was announced that as many as 409 business private jets and 333 active aircraft had arrived at the French Cote d’Azur for the weekend, the harbour was lined with luxury yachts, and the grandstands were packed with fans eagerly anticipating the main event…. and this year’s event is certainly no different.

Fresh off the back of watching Tyson Fury fold to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo wasted no time in getting across for the next big event in world sport.

The Al-Nassr forward was spotted before the race spending time with the sport’s most decorated driver Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes garage, rocking an ultra-rare Franck Muller.

On the wrist, Ronaldo’s Franck Muller Cintree Curvex Tourbillon 0001 is a watch befitting the man; it’s a lavish and expensive release that’s worth upwards of $1.5 million USD (~$2.2 million AUD)… which in the grand scheme of things, is not surprising given some of the wealth that’s pouring into the French Riviera this weekend.
