Unlike many fighters, UFC champion Jon Jones’s personal life is an open book because of the many controversies that he was involved with.
Jones has never been married but has an on-and-off relationship with his fiancée Jessie Moses who is the mother of Jon’s three daughters. John and Jessie first met while attending Endicott High School in New York and began dating. They had their first child in 2008 and became engaged five years later.

In 2021, Jones was arrested on domestic violence charges. The incident happened on the night when Jon was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. According to a police report, Jones’ youngest daughter made a 911 call to report a domestic incident between Jones and Moses inside the Caesars Palace.
Moses reportedly told police that Jon hit her but the battery charges ended up getting dropped and Jones ended up pleading no contest to tampering with a police vehicle after headbutting the hood of a patrol car. Jones announced in early 2022 that Moses had permanently left him after his Las Vegas arrest.
But rumours that the couple got back together swirled when Jones thanked his ‘beautiful fiance’ among others after completing his training camp for the Cyril Gane fight at UFC 285.
Moses was sitting in the front row to support Jones in the fight. After beating Gane, She entered the Octagon to share a moment with him and Jones thanked her during his post-fight Octagon interview.
“I want to thank my beautiful fiance Jessie for being my biggest support,” Jones said. “I love you so much – my biggest supporter.”
During an interview with Michael Bisping, Jones acknowledged his personal troubles but seemed to admit that all’s well that ends well.
“We all have our past, and thank God that he’s making me the man that I am today,” Jones said.
“Me and my family are better than we ever have been. I just thank God so much for him using me to let other people see that none of us are perfect and that despite your downfalls, the sky is the limit for those who don’t give up, for those who know how to get down on their knees and pray. And I thank God for this platform. It means the world to me.”
