Chuck Liddell Destroys Podcaster’s Leg With Vicious Kick

Chuck Liddell was known for his fists of fury but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have a devastating leg kick too.

When we talk about the most violent finishers in the UFC, Chuck Liddell is right up there with the best of them. The Iceman produced 13 knockouts in 21 MMA wins and owns the UFC record for most knockout wins in the light heavyweight division.

Although he is now 54 years old and 5 years past his last UFC bout, the Iceman recently showed that he remains as vicious as ever.

Liddell was recently the guest on the Basement Talk podcast with Kyler Isaoglu, Coby Isaoglu, and Zach Gilligan, and the gang had a good hour-and-a-half conversation with one of the UFC’s all-time greats. Towards the end, however, Kyler asked Chuck to demonstrate a leg kick, and foolishly, he asked Chuck to do it on him… wrong move, very wrong move.

The podcast ended with the trio heading to a convenience store with Kyler looking to buy Tylenol for obvious reasons. It appeared that he picked up Advil instead, for pain relief. On his IG account, Tyler claimed he couldn’t walk for a week after that kick.

Well, you can’t blame Chuck for that injury because he asked for one. And Liddell is obviously the wrong guy to ask to hit you anywhere.

Along with Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell is credited with bringing mixed martial arts into the mainstream of U.S. sports and entertainment The UFC Hall of Famer owned a 16-7 record inside the UFC Octagon and he recorded stoppage victories against the likes of Kevin Randleman, Alistair Overeem, Tito Ortiz (2x), and Couture (2X).

He won the UFC Light Heavyweight championship with a first-round KO against Couture. That stoppage won Knockout of the Year honours in 2005. He knocked out his first four title challengers before he lost to Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson at UFC 71 in May 2007.

The Iceman retired in 2010 after suffering a first-round knockout loss to Rich Franklin at UFC 115. Eight years later, Liddell returned to action for a third showdown with eternal rival Tito Ortiz. Ortiz knocked out Liddell, also inside round one. That turned out to be his last bout as shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic, Chuck announced his retirement.

Liddell has been busy doing movies among others in his retirement. He also competed in Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars, appeared on The Simpsons, and the 2018 edition of Celebrity Big Brother. But while Liddell doesn’t look like he’s been training as of late, the last thing that leaves fighters when they retire is their punching power or the power of their kicks. It’s tough that Kyler learned that lesson the hard way.
