Scheduled to make his UFC debut this weekend, Page is already 36 years old and has been fighting since 2012. He spent the last decade at the UFC’s chief rival Bellator MMA and is a veteran of 23 professional MMA fights.

Outside the cage, Venom is also already an accomplished businessman. During his recent interview with MMA reporter Nina Marie Daniele, Page revealed that he loves Mexican food because he owns a Mexican restaurant called Ixchel in London.

While Page did not expound on his business, Ixchel is a modern Mexican restaurant located on the famous Kings Road in Chelsea, London. Named after the Mayan goddess of the Moon, the restaurant also has a tequila bar.

Although there is nothing on Ixchel posted on MVP’s IG page, he and restaurant founder Fraser Carruthers follow each other, so he could be a partner in the business venture. Regardless, that’s quite an investment for an MMA fighter.

According to sports website Sportskeeda, Page has a net worth of around $1 million to $ 2 million which explains why he could afford to own a famous restaurant in London. Venom earned $100,000 for his last MMA bout at Bellator 292. He knocked out Goiti Yamauchi with a leg kick in 26 seconds.

Such victory has been the trademark of Page’s MMA career. MVP has a professional MMA record of 21-2 with 13 knockouts and 3 wins via submission. Page is most known for his brutal Bellator 158 knockout of Evangelista Santos, the ex-husband of Cris Cyborg. Santos suffered a cracked skull after Page knocked him out with a flying knee.

Four bouts later, Page suffered his first career loss against Douglas Lima who knocked him out during the Bellator Welterweight Tournament semifinals in 2019. At Bellator 281 last May 2022, Page suffered his second career defeat as he dropped a split decision against Logan Storley.

Following the sale of Bellator MMA to the Professional Fighters League, Page became a promotional free agent and the UFC swooped in to finally bring one of the most exciting knockout artists in MMA to its fold.

At UFC 299, Page will make his promotional debut against the dangerous Kevin Holland. Their bout will be the third fight in the event’s main card. UFC 299 will be headlined by the UFC bantamweight title fight between champion Sean O’Malley and challenger Marlon Vera.
