The UFC President Dana White didn’t look like he was in a good mood when he appeared on Howie Mandell’s podcast.
Dana White was one of the guests in the latest episode of the Howie Mandell podcast, but the UFC boss stormed off the set 30 seconds into the podcast after Mandell first introduced him onto the show.
“Sometimes when you wish upon a star, the star shows up. Dana White, you are an amazing guy. I can’t thank you enough for being here. You and Ginger seem to be getting along. You are not only an amazing businessman, you are an inspiration. You are a philosopher — the way you do business, the way you conduct your business, and your friendships and media, I’m jealous. Dana, I can’t thank you enough for being here.”

“Thank you for all the kind words, I appreciate it,” White replied before letting Mandel know how he really felt. “I am so f**king tired of doing podcasts. I am literally done with them. I am not doing any more podcasts.”
Mandell looked shocked while watching White leave the set but did proceed to interview his other guests after White exited abruptly.
It’s unclear why Uncle Dana did what he did. Perhaps he was just worn out after doing too many podcasts While in Vegas to watch last weekend’s Super Bowl. Last week White guested at the Pat McAfee Show, The Full Send Podcast with Kyle Foregard, and seemed to have a good time with the Nelk Boys when he guested on their show.
Some claim it was a publicity stunt because the UFC has some big events coming up, including this weekend’s UFC 298 at the Honda Center which will be headlined by the UFC feat historic UFC 300 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas. The event doesn’t have a main event yet and White has been pressured to name the headliner.
Others said Dana was probably irked by Mandell’s introduction wherein he called White a philosopher. Or perhaps White was just having a bad day and wanted to go home right away.
At the start of this month, Uncle Dana sat down with former Playboy model Nina-Marie Daniele for a one-on-one interview. And the UFC boss looked like he was having a good time in that interview, with Nina even leaving him with the ultimate gift. – the ability to go home to Boston as a free man.
Unknown to many, White left Boston while he was still a small boxing promoter. He claims that popular gangster Whitey Bulger sent a man to his gym one day asking for the $2,500 that White owed Bulger.
But the two never met before so Bulger’s men were probably trying to extort money from White. Dana eventually settled down in Las Vegas where he would meet the Fertitta brothers. The 3 men went on to found the UFC and turn it into a $3 billion company before selling the company.
