Alex Pereira is undoubtedly a scary fighter and has one of the most powerful hands in the UFC. Looking at his physique, he is a big muscular guy who obviously works hard in the gym, but he doesn’t look like the typical juice head.
As a UFC fighter, Poatan is enrolled in the UFC’s drug testing pool and joining the UFC in 2021, he has never failed a single drug test. Pereira also fought at the GLORY Kickboxing promotion and while there, there were no issues linking him to the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Pereira did, however, battle alcohol addiction, seeking out combat sports as a way to overcome his alcoholism. In 2009, Pereira began kickboxing at age 21 because he felt that sports would allow him to get back on the right path. But while he initially took up kickboxing to get a clean life, he didn’t know that he would become a future combat sports superstar.
With a powerful left hand, Pereira has made a legendary career out of knocking out opponents. He is known as one of the most vicious finishers in the UFC right now and a two-division UFC champion. Pereira is also the first fighter to win both the UFC middleweight and light heavyweight titles.
